HKSAR Government Scholarship and Subsidy Schemes

Reaching Out Award (ROA)

Offered by the Education Bureau, the award aims to support meritorious students enrolled in full-time self-financed programmes at sub-degree or undergraduate levels to participate in learning, internship or service programmes, as well as national, regional and international events and competitions that are conducted outside Hong Kong and organised/endorsed by PolyU CPCE.

Subsidy Schemes for Exchange Activities

The Education Bureau has offered the following subsidy schemes to support post-secondary students with financial needs to pursue exchange activities outside Hong Kong:

• Scheme for Subsidy on Exchange for Post-secondary Students (SSE)
• Scheme for Means-tested Subsidy on Exchange to “Belt and Road” Regions for Post-secondary Students (Means-tested SSEBR)
• Scheme for Non-means-tested Subsidy on Exchange to “Belt and Road” Regions for Post-secondary Students (Non-means-tested SSEBR)
• Non-means-tested Mainland Experience Scheme for Post-secondary Students (Non-means-tested MES)
