(Supported by Logistics Promotion Funding Scheme under the Maritime and Aviation Training Fund)
Introduction
The CPCE Student Affairs Office (CSAO) has received funding of HKD 693,000 from the Logistics Promotion Funding Scheme (LPFS) under the Maritime and Aviation Training Fund (MATF) to launch a project titled "Promoting Logistics Development Through Student Engagement and Learning Resource Package". The project aims to inspire and educate local primary and secondary school students about the dynamic world of logistics, the services and development of the logistics industry, and further studies and future career development in the logistics field.
Through a combination of teaching resource packages, educational videos, hands-on activities, game booths, board games, and mini-exhibitions, students will gain practical insights into logistics operations, the evolution of supply chain management, and emerging industry trends. Additionally, engagement with logistics professionals will offer real-world perspectives, helping students explore potential career paths.
By fostering early interest and knowledge in logistics, this project not only enhances students' learning but also strengthens the talent pipeline for the industry. The outcomes include increased awareness, career readiness, and long-term community impact, ensuring that students are well-equipped to consider logistics as a future field of study and employment.
